I’m Tony, if I had a short intro it’d be that I love experimenting with coffee, think dogs are brilliant, go running for fun, dabble with yoga on my rest days and follow Slimming World.  Oh and I sometimes dabble in technology!

Started this blog so I can pull ideas together, tie them together nicely and throw them at people in a better formatted and structured way than I could using Facebook, plus the good topics become re-usable so I can focus on editing and curating instead of repeating myself.

Started running in summer of 2016 following the Couch to 5K podcast, got into parkrun, by the end of 2016 I was training towards 10K and using virtual runs to motivate myself.  In early 2017 entered three 10K races, got involved with a local social running club and started training for a September half marathon.  Still enjoying parkrun and get a really fun variety of training with the club that’s helped me keep pushing my times down.

Joined Slimming World in January 2015, reached my target by the end of October and kept turning up to group since then – keeps me honest, those expensive consultant scales give an unbiased opinion each week, plus I’ve got an investment in various group member’s journeys and want to see how they do.
